The Beaches of Gallura

Whoever chooses Santa Teresa Gallura as a destination for their summer holiday in Sardinia, is probably aware of the ideal location of the Gallura town, from which you can easily reach the most beautiful beaches of Gallura and Northern Sardinia.
Thanks to its vast territorial extension, which runs from the western border with Aglientu to the east with Palau, Santa Teresa, it offers visitors an incredible range of beaches, composed of fine sandy shores, granite cliffs, impressive coves and unparalleled backdrops.

Let’s look at some of the most beautiful beaches of Santa Teresa Gallura:

Rena Bianca

Rena Bianca is the beach of Santa Teresa, which is located a few steps from the historic centre and can be reached with just a short walk. Nestled in a majestic granite landscape, the beach is characterised by fine white sand and shallow water which also makes the beach suitable for children.

Rena di Ponente and Rena di Levante

The Rena di Levante and Rena di Ponente beaches form the sandy strip that joins Capo Testa to the mainland. Long sandy beaches surrounded by spectacular granite formations, the layout of the two beaches constantly offers a sheltered alternative to swimmers.

Santa Reparata

Santa Reparata is a white sandy beach located just 3 km from Santa Teresa. Enclosed by impressive cliffs, the beach is perfect for children and much loved by scuba diving enthusiasts for the beautiful nature of the seabed.

La Liccia

An inlet that opens up to the thick Mediterranean scrub hosts the never-crowded beach of La Liccia, almost a mile of soft white sand and a seabed that slopes gently into a crystalline sea. La Liccia is 5 km from Santa Teresa.

La Marmorata

A fully-equipped beach a few km from Santa Teresa, La Marmorata is characterised by a beach of fine golden sand that overlooks a crystalline and shallow sea, with a beautiful view of the Maddalena Archipelago. Accessible by swimming, the granite islets are located a few metres from the shore.

Valle dell’Erica

The stretch of the coast of Valle dell’Erica, a hamlet of Santa Teresa, is characterised by beautiful rocky coves. The small beach located a few steps from the built-up area alternates between majestic rocks and medium-grained golden sand. A spectacular seabed, much appreciated by diving enthusiasts.

Porto Liscia

A sandy expanse that starts from the Coluccia peninsula to the Isuledda, Liscia beach, with its 8 km of shoreline, is the largest stretch in the area. Divided into two parts from the mouth of the Sciumara river, the beautiful beach is also highly appreciated for its great naturalistic value.
